Inaugural Issue: Advancing Mental Health Across K-12 Schools, Colleges, and Universities in Rural Communities

We are excited to invite submissions for the inaugural issue of the Journal of Mental Health in Rural Schools. This peer-reviewed, open-access journal seeks to promote innovative research, policy insights, and practical solutions that address the unique mental health challenges faced by K-12 schools, colleges, and universities in rural communities. Our mission is to build a platform that highlights strategies to overcome barriers such as limited access to mental health services, geographic isolation, and stigma, while celebrating the strengths and resilience of rural education systems.

We welcome contributions from educators, mental health practitioners, researchers, and policymakers. This issue will set the foundation for future conversations and collaborations, bringing attention to the importance of mental health equity in rural education.
